The Dining Area

Is located in front of the three apartments, nicely executed to enjoy your meals in the surrounding of a vaste tropical vegetation,in front of the inside garden.

The Garden

Each apartment has a splendid view to the inside garden, which can be considered a dream of tropical flowers and vegetation.

The Roof Terrace or Patio

Is the second floor of the Posada, connected by stairs from the Dining Area.
It offers you a spectacular view of all three volcanos of Antigua; the Agua, the Fuego and the Acatenango. The Agua Volcano in fact seems so near, that you may be tempted to reach out your hand and touch it. Something you surely wouldn’t like to do with the Fuego Volcano(means fire), it is still active and you may see it cough smoke.

Part of the terrace is covered by roof, so you can sit in the shade and enjoy the view of the volcanos.The unroofed part of the terrace is designated to persons who love sunbathing and getting a tan.For your comfort there are several samples of furniture on the roof terrace, including plastic beds and chairs for the sunbathers, as well as wooden furniture under the roofed part.
After all, it’s a place where you would love to take a sundowner(with or without alcohol) and just enjoy the view and your staying in Antigua: "The Very Noble and Loyal City of Saint James of the Knights of Guatemala", as it was called centuries ago and still is in the present.
The Posada at Night
A couple of month ago, we used our posada for a privat celebretion. It went on till late in the evening and we soon found out that something was missing, some kind of a nice and even more romantic touch. We soon decided to adopt some candles and we hope you too will apreciate their nice and soft light and the special ambience they create.
