Posada San Antonio

Our Location
Our Posada San Antonio is located in the nice and quiet "Barrio -neighborhood- of Santa Ana", hosting the oldest church of Antigua, which still remains in active service for the community. It's a neighborhood where most of the people are family and relatives, the only exception are we and our neighbor, she is a very nice and charming Lady from Portugal ( actually she's a real countess, but it never would occur her to mention it ). It's kind of a neighborhood where most of us wish to have grown up and which is considered one of the most safest places here in Antigua. Our barrio is also known for it's particular nice saw dust carpets, which are quite an attraction during Easter Week. We are in an acceptable distance to the center zone and the main plaza, it's a nice and easy walk along old churches and monasteries. It's a walk that takes you about 10 minutes to the center zone and 15 minutes right to the main plaza. If you already have been once in Antigua, you might remember the church of Belém and the church of San Francisco. It takes you a short 5 minutes walk to the church of Belém and a 10 minutes walk right to the main entrance of the San Francisco. We are in direction of the famous church El Calvario, but closer to the center.

You also might like to know that we have several bikes for our guest's to use for, of course at no extra charge.
We offer free trips to the supermarket ...! It lay's on the other end of town, but we have several locally owned petit grocery stores right around the corner. Anyway, if you don't feel like walking or biking, you just tell me, - we love what we're doing and we're doing it gladly.
